Protection of the father's parental rights

In Russia, in 90% of cases, the child stays with his mother. However, a man must also know what rights a father has after a divorce in order to continue to fulfill his parental function to the fullest.

The rights of a parent who does not live with a child include:

• To take an active part in the life and upbringing of the child, that is, to coordinate with the ex-wife the choice of kindergarten, school, sections of circles. Dad has every right to attend matinees, class meetings, etc. • Spend time with a minor on their territory (as agreed), organize joint walks, attend cultural events. • The ability to organize the departure of the child outside the country (with the consent of the mother).

Very often, women break the rules and, in view of their ambitions, they themselves establish the regime of meetings and pastime between the father and the child, or even completely forbid it to do so.
